- Q?What are your Terms and Conditions
1 : All works will comply to BS7671 : 2008 17th Regulations
2 : All electrical works will comply with Building Regulations currently in force at the present time .
3 : Where work is to modify an existing installation , costs quoted will assume that the existing installation is of adequate condition and complies with the minimum current regulation . Any additional work needed to bring part thereof , will be charged accordingly .
4 : All cables will be chased into plaster work , or hidden unless stated otherwise .Where trunking may be used it will be neatly surface run or cabling clipped direct or housed in conduit or the former.
5 : Where carpet and other floor coverings need to be lifted to complete the install , these will be refitted to the best of our ability .
6 : Chased walls , will be plastered back as far as reasonably possible to its original finish .
7 : All endeavours will be made , for a clean and tidy job.
1 : Unless agreed in writing , payment in full must be made on completion of the works carried out .
2 : A staged payment arrangement will be requested on start of first fix to cover cost of materials etc .
3 : SBE Electrical & Security will rigorously pursue anyone that does not pay on time. After the job completion you will be issued with an invoice you have 14 days to make payment for the invoice amount . If payment has not been received within 15 days a reminded invoice shall be issued at a charge of £10.00 this reminder invoice amount ( including the late payment penalty ) will require paying in full within 10 days .
If payment still has not been received after the 10 day reminder invoice period then the interest charged at 5% above the bank base rate ( or the legal maximum if that is higher ) will be added on to the entire amount owed . SBE Electrical & Security may engage a debt collecting agency to retrieve any monies outstanding including associated costs .
- Q?What is your Warrantee ?
SBE Electrical & security warrants all its work to be defect free for a period of 12 months from invoice date. Such cover does not extend to goods not supplied by SBE Electrical & security , physical damage to products or where by the installation has been altered or tampered with subsequently by third parties.
- Q?Risk & Title of Goods
1 : The risk of goods supplied , is the clients responsibility on delivery .
2 : All material goods shall be the property of SBE Electrical & Security till all payments have been met .
- Q?Deviations From Building Regs & BS 7671
1 : All work where applicable , will be incompliant with building Regulations BS7671 in force at the time , for allowance of Part-P obligations to be met. Where a client requires deviation from this , written instruction will be sort .
- Q?What are Exclusions ?
1 : Clearing and moving of furniture and other items blocking access to work are not included , in the work plan schedule .
2 :Removal from site disposal of rubble , fittings ,wiring , materials, general waste is not includes .
- Q?Extras and Variations
All extras and variations must be agreed by both parties in writing before work begins .
1 : The costing of the job , assume continual and unrestricted access to the site .
2 : The quote assumes standard working Monday to Friday 9.00 till 5.00 or 8.00 till 4.00 .
3 : Any additional work outside these times will be charged at time and a half .
4 : All quotes are valid for 30 working days from the time of the quote .
5 : Delays to second fix caused by customer and or third parties may invalidate original quote , SBE Electrical & Security may exercise the right to re-quote to take into account increase in material costs
